Our courtroom-qualified experts have evaluated hundreds of failures, involving accidents, fires, and injuries from these failures.

We are also experienced with large diesel engines and can complete a cause analysis on tractor trailers, buses, and other commercial vehicles to determine the source of the failure. Crash data, also commonly referred to as the vehicle’s “black box” can be obtained by our experts. Whether it needs to come from electronic control modules (ECM) of passenger or commercial vehicles we can obtained the data.  Depending on the make and model of the vehicle, the data indicate the speed, braking, acceleration, and other key factors associated with the event and assist reconstruction experts.

Vehicle infotainment and telematics systems store a vast amount of data such as recent destinations, favorite locations, call logs, contact lists, text messages, emails, social media feeds, whether vehicle lights were on or doors open, and the navigation history.  Ash Forensics has the capability of obtaining this data depending on the type of vehicle.
